Israel Army Exits North Gaza Hospital, Holds Medical Staff — Health Ministry Reports

Israel Army left Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza after a raid, where they reportedly detained dozens of medical staff and some patients, according to the Gaza health ministry.

Meanwhile, 30 people in Beit Lahiya, also in northern Gaza, were killed in Israeli airstrikes. The Israeli military confirmed an attack in the area, stating it targeted Hamas members but didn’t confirm the number of casualties reported by local sources.

Before the raid, about 600 people, including patients and their families, were in Kamal Adwan Hospital. During the raid, some children in intensive care reportedly died after damage to the hospital’s generators and oxygen supply.

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) described the situation in northern Gaza as “extremely dire,” warning that people urgently need safe evacuation options and essential supplies.

This conflict began on October 7, 2023, when Hamas-led fighters attacked Israel, resulting in casualties and hostages. Since then, Israeli strikes in Gaza have led to high casualties, with over 43,000 lives lost, according to Gaza health authorities.
