MANILA, Philippines — Isabela Sixth District Rep. Faustino “Bojie” Dy III is the next speaker of the House of Representatives.
He was the only one nominated for the post after the resignation of Martin Romualdez on Wednesday.
Dy comes from a political family. He served as governor and vice governor of Isabela province.
He was one of the deputy speakers of the House.
