MANILA, Philippines — The House of Representatives approved on third and final reading House Bill 10524 which aims to remove candidacy withdrawal as ground for substitution of political party bets.
Meanwhile, the bill aims to add permanent incapacity as a ground for substitution.
A total of 195 lawmakers voted for the bill’s passage during plenary session on Wednesday.
