The hit film “Hello, Love, Goodbye” has officially made history as the highest grossing Filipino film of all time.
The Kathryn Bernardo-Alden Richards romantic drama has chalked up a worldwide gross of ₱880,603,490, Star Cinema announced during a thanksgiving party on Tuesday.
Directed by Cathy Garcia Molina, the film beat another Bernardo starrer, “The Hows of Us,” in the box office race. “The Hows of Us” also raked in a global gross of over ₱800 million.
“Hello, Love, Goodbye,” follows the love story of Joy (Bernardo), a domestic helper, and Ethan (Richards), a bartender, and the struggles they face as migrant workers in Hong Kong.
Star Cinema previously announced that the film has been adapted into a novel, written by Palanca award-winning writer Charmaine Lasar.
