Graduates from UP-V Tacloban, USJ-R share top spot in September 2023 CPA exams

Accounting graduates from the University of the Philippines -Visayas (UPV) in Tacloban City and University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) in Cebu City share the top spot for the September 2023 Licensure Examination for Certified Public Accountants, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced late Friday evening.

Allaine Beduya Collamar (UPV) and Hebban Talib Tawantawan (USJ-R) both garnered a percentage rating of 91.17 the exams administered by the Board of Accountancy in N. C. R., Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last September 2023.

A total of 2,740 accounting graduates out of 8,734 successfully hurdled the examinations.
