GCash Bank Transfer & Pay QR Temporarily Down – Here’s Why!
If you’re trying to send money using GCash bank transfer or pay with Pay QR via QRPH, you might have noticed that these services are temporarily unavailable.
On Sunday afternoon, G-Xchange Inc., the company behind GCash, announced that a technical issue with BancNet is causing problems with incoming and outgoing InstaPay transfers.
What’s Happening?
According to GCash, the problem is not on their end but is due to BancNet’s ongoing issue. Because of this, the following GCash services are currently unavailable:
🚫 Bank Transfers – You can’t send or receive money from other banks.
🚫 Pay QR via QRPH – Payments to partner stores and merchants using the QR feature won’t work.
BancNet is already working to fix the problem, but GCash did not give an exact time for when these services will be fully restored.
What Can You Still Use?
✅ Transfers within the GCash app (GCash-to-GCash transactions) are still working.
✅ Other financial services on the app, like bills payment, buying load, and GSave, remain available.
