Fire hits Tondo area

MANILA, Philippines — Fire hit a residential area in Happyland, Tondo, Manila on Saturday evening.

According to the Manila Public Information Office (MPIO), the fire was verified by 8:28 pm and quickly escalated to the third alarm by 8:36 pm.

As of posting time, authorities have yet to determine the cause of the fire.
