Estrada willing to open bank accounts

MANILA, Philippines — Senator Jinggoy Estrada on Monday expressed willingness to open his bank accounts following allegations that he got commissions from infrastructure projects.

“I am willing to sign any waiver to open my bank accounts. Let me put that on record,” he said, adding that he would not be intimidated by what he described as baseless accusations meant to discredit him and the Senate as an institution.

Both senators denied the allegations.
