Eman Bacosa Pacquiao is officially taking his first step into the world of showbiz — and he’s doing it with purpose, humility, and faith.
In a report by Nelson Canlas on 24 Oras, Eman visited the Kapuso headquarters on Tuesday, where he met with GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, Sparkle GMA Artist Center First Vice President Joy Marcelo, and other Sparkle executives. The young boxer arrived not just as Manny Pacquiao’s son, but as someone with a genuine message to share.
Eman said he hopes to inspire the youth and honor God through his journey in showbiz.
“Glory to God… kasi pangalan po ni God ang dinadala ko,” he shared with emotion. “’Yun po talaga ang gusto kong maipahiwatig sa kabataan — na nothing is impossible with God.”
With honesty, he admitted he never expected these opportunities to come his way.
“Gusto ko lang naman i-honor ang mama ko at si God. ’Yun lang po talaga ang desire ng heart ko,” he said. “Kahit hindi po ako maging famous, okay lang. Basta makilala nila si God, at kung gaano sila kamahal.”
Eman, son of People’s Champ Manny Pacquiao and Joanna Rose Bacosa, has quickly gained attention — not just for his boxing skills, but for his character.
He recently appeared on Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho and Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, and is set to appear on Family Feud next.
In October, he impressed fans once again at the Thrilla in Manila 2 event organized by his father, where he kept his undefeated record: 7 wins, 0 losses, 1 draw, and 4 knockouts.
Online, many netizens can’t help but notice his resemblance to Piolo Pascual — a comparison that grew even more striking when the two met during Eman’s KMJS guesting.
With talent, humility, and a clear mission, Eman Pacquiao enters showbiz not just to shine — but to inspire.
