Dos and don’ts for Liza: boyfriend, yes; Darna, yes; beauty contest, no

LIZA Soberano ‘s manager has some specific instructions for his ward as the rising star navigates the murky world of showbiz. Liza depends on the guiding hand of her manager, Ogie Diaz, to help her make the right decisions. So, what are Ogie’s dos and don’ts for Liza?

 

Ogie clarified that contrary to what she told Liza before, there is nothing in their contract that prohibits Liza from having a boyfriend.

 

“Akala ni Liza nung una, nasa contract niya yun .. . Kaya sabi ko, ‘May contract tayo, hind! ka muna mag-bu-boyfriend,— he said, laughing.

 

So, is it okay if Liza would give in to love team partner Enrique Gil’s ad-vances? “Okey lang naman kung magka-boyfrien na siya,” replied Ogie, noting that she is al-ready 19 years old. “Mas magagalit ako kung magkaka-girlfriend siyal”

 

Ogie also said that they are open to the Darna role if it was offered to Liza.

 

“Isa siya sa mga choices, he disclosed. “Itong Darna, su per hero, maraming may gus na gumanap pa ring Darna Imagine-in mo yung history mga gumanap na Darna, like Ate Vi [Vilma Santos], so kung s Liza ang mapipili for the role, syempre tatangapin naman yun.’ But

 

Ogie thumbed down suggestions for Liza to join the Binibining Pilipinas contest. “Sa tingin ko, hind! niya na naman kailangang sumali sa Bb. Pilipinas dahil Liz Soberano na siya. At ang dami-dami niyang raket kaya hindi niya na mabibigyan ng oras yung training para sa Bb. Pilipinas . .

 

Ang dapat sumali sa Bb Pilipinas, yung mga baguhan lang, na kung mananalo sila ay makakatulong sa kanila yung title.”
