MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) said on Friday that it was investigating the hacking of an Anti-Red Tape Authority’s (ARTA) platform.
The Policy Reform, Innovation, and Streamlining Management (PRISM) that offers training courses on Regulatory Impact Assessment was hacked at around 8:57 p.m. on Sept. 16, 2025.
“We are currently conducting a thorough assessment of the submitted incident report and closely coordinating with the relevant authorities to ensure a proper investigation and the implementation of necessary measures,” the DICT said.
Based on the incident report’s initial assessment, the DICT said no sensitive data was compromised and no active users were enrolled in the training courses.
