Co hasn’t replied to return-home order – Dy

(UPDATE) AKO Bicol Rep. Elizaldy “Zaldy” Co has not replied to the order of Speaker Faustino “Bojie” Dy III to return to the country to respond to allegations of his involvement in anomalous flood control projects.

Dy has revoked Co’s travel clearance and ordered him to return within 10 calendar days from receipt of the notice.

Co is a former appropriations committee chairman.

During a Senate hearing, contractor Pacifico “Curlee” Discaya II alleged that certain individuals he linked to questionable flood control projects “repeatedly mentioned” having delivered money to Co.

Co is said to be in the United States seeking “medical treatment.”

He has not issued a statement either denying or confirming a statement, which circulated online, that he would resign if forced to return to the country.

The last post on his Facebook page gave details on where to send financial help for a former street vendor whose two children had medical conditions.
