MANILA, Philippines – Good news for travelers! China is now allowing visa-free entry to tourists from 10 Southeast Asian countries who want to visit Xishuangbanna in Yunnan Province.
Who Can Travel Visa-Free? 
If you’re from the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Brunei, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, or Cambodia, you no longer need a visa to visit this beautiful destination!
You must be part of a tourist group (at least 2 people).
You can stay for up to 6 days.
You must enter and exit through these approved entry points:
Xishuangbanna Gasa International Airport
Mohan Railway Port
Mohan Highway Port
Your travel is limited to Xishuangbanna Prefecture only.
Why is China Doing This? 
China wants to boost tourism in Xishuangbanna, a stunning region famous for its lush rainforests, rich culture, and breathtaking landscapes. This move will also strengthen ties between China and ASEAN countries and make travel easier for everyone!
The National Immigration Administration (NIA) says this policy will help China connect more with Southeast Asia, improve tourism, and create more business and cultural exchanges.
