✈️ A Big Day for Cebu Pacific!
Cebu Pacific, the airline known for its bright yellow planes and low fares, just made a huge milestone in Philippine aviation history! On Friday, they proudly announced something super exciting:
Cebu Pacific now has 100 airplanes in their fleet — the first airline in the Philippines to ever reach this number!
That’s right — 100 planes flying in the skies across the country and even to other parts of Asia. And the 100th plane is brand new and super advanced!
🚀 Meet the 100th Airplane: The A330neo
This special new aircraft is called an Airbus A330neo. It’s big, strong, and can carry 459 passengers! It flew all the way from Toulouse, France, where it was built, straight to Manila.
This is the 12th A330neo in Cebu Pacific’s family of airplanes, which also makes them the biggest A330neo user in all of Asia-Pacific. That’s a big deal!
And guess what? They’re expecting more planes to arrive soon — four more A330neos this year, and seven new planes in 2025.
🎯 Why Is This So Important?
Cebu Pacific’s president, Xander Lao, said this isn’t just about having more airplanes. He said:
“This shows our promise to keep making travel affordable for Filipinos.”
