Sometimes, strength isn’t loud.
Sometimes, it looks like standing still… even when your legs are shaking.
On Friday’s episode of “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0,” Carmelle Collado and Marco Masa proved just how far they were willing to go — not for themselves, but for others.
For family.
Four Girls. One Concern.
Carmelle couldn’t ignore what she was seeing.
Caprice Cayetano, Lella Ford, Ashley Sarmiento, and Krystal Mejes — the housemates staying on the Ultimate 8 platform — had been outside for hours.
They looked exhausted. Uncomfortable. In need of something simple… a shower. Fresh clothes. A reset.
So Carmelle went to Kuya.
She asked if the girls could freshen up.
Kuya agreed — but there was a condition.
Carmelle had to stand on a platform in the living room. No stepping down. Not until the set time was over.
The moment she stepped out of the confession room, the sacrifice began.
Four Hours of Pain
At first, she stood tall.
Her housemates cheered her on. Encouraged her. Watched her closely.
Then the strain began to show.
Halfway through, Kuya added another challenge: she had to balance on just one foot.
One foot.
Minutes felt like hours. Hours felt endless.
“Pagod na po, Kuya, ‘yung katawan ko… lalo na po ‘yung paa ko,” Carmelle admitted.
But she didn’t quit.
“I kept telling myself this is for the four of them. I realized everything we’ve been through together… I already treat them like family.”
Family.
That word carried her through the pain.
After four long hours, Carmelle finally stepped down.
And Kuya granted the girls their shower call and fresh clothes.
Carmelle didn’t stop there. She personally helped them gather their things and guided them to the restroom.
Her body was tired.
But her heart was full.
Marco’s Turn
While Carmelle stood in pain, Marco Masa was watching.
And he, too, wanted to help.
He told Kuya he was willing to carry and move the Ultimate 8 platform wherever the girls needed to go inside the house.
Kuya approved — with one strict rule:
Marco had to lift and move the platform alone.
No help. No assistance.
Just him.
Again and again, Marco carried the heavy structure — to the garden, to the girls’ bedroom, across different parts of the house.
Sweat. Strain. Silence.
But no complaints.
“Hindi ko siya tinitingnan bilang sakripisyo,” Marco said softly.
“I see it as an opportunity to do something good. To show how much I value the well-being of those staying in the Ultimate 8.”
For him, it wasn’t about endurance.
It was about intention.
One More Challenge
Later, Marco asked Kuya if he could earn food for the four girls.
Kuya said yes — but added another twist.
Every time a signal sound played, Marco had to immediately move the Ultimate 8 to a new location.
If he completed the task within the time limit, the girls would receive four plates of food.
No hesitation.
Marco kept moving.
Because sometimes, caring means carrying the weight — literally.
More Than a Game
Carmelle and Marco are both nominated for Sunday’s eviction, alongside Heath Jornales, Miguel Vergara, Princess Aliyah, and Joaquin Arce.
The stakes are high.
The pressure is real.
But on this night, something bigger than nominations happened.
Two housemates chose discomfort.
Chose exhaustion.
Chose sacrifice.
Not for airtime.
Not for strategy.
But for people they now call family.
And inside Bahay ni Kuya… that may matter most of all.
