In a recent Instagram Reel, the comedy institution revealed that their hit character Ciala Dismaya will soon have company. Enter “Cornee Dismaya”—a witty play on Pacifico “Curlee” Discaya II, the contractor currently under fire in the ongoing corruption probe over flood control projects.
“May makakasama na siya sa susunod na hearing!” the show teased in its caption, sending fans into a frenzy.
The much-anticipated Cornee Dismaya sketch is set to air on Sunday, September 28 at 6:10 p.m.

This isn’t the first time Bubble Gang tackled the Discaya family. Earlier, Michael V. transformed into Ciala Dismaya—a spoof of Curlee’s wife, Sarah Discaya. The sketch poked fun at questions about the Discayas’ construction empire and their luxury cars.

For Michael V., also known as Bitoy, satire isn’t just for laughs—it’s a tool to spark awareness.
“Feeling ko, kung makakatulong ‘to sa pag-create ng awareness sa mga totoong nangyayari, e ‘di sige. By all memes,” he said in an interview.
When asked what he hopes viewers will take away from the sketch, his answer was simple yet powerful:
“Mamulat.”

And in a surprising twist, Discaya’s own lawyer revealed that Sarah Discaya wasn’t angry at the impersonation. Michael V. admitted he was relieved and even happy to hear that.
