Big news! Some of the most talented young Filipinos just made it to Forbes’ “30 Under 30 Asia” list for 2025! That means these awesome young people were picked as the best of the best in all of Asia — and they’re all under 30 years old!
This list is super special because Forbes — a big, famous magazine — looked at over 4,500 young leaders from across Asia and chose just 30 people in each category. These people are changing the world in cool ways, from music and sports to business and even farming!
Let’s meet the amazing Pinoys who made it into the spotlight this year 👇
🎤 BINI – Pop Superstars (Entertainment & Sports)
You know BINI — the all-girl P-pop group that’s taking over the world! 💃
Their name comes from “binibini,” which means “young lady” in Tagalog. The group has 8 talented girls: Aiah, Colet, Gwen, Jhoanna, Maloi, Mikha, Sheena, and Stacey.
They started in 2019 after being picked from 250 hopefuls in a big nationwide search by ABS-CBN. This year, they had a sold-out concert in the Philippine Arena (that’s 50,000 fans!) and began a 15-city world tour! 🌍🎶
💼 Ysabel Chua – Boss in Business (Finance & Venture Capital)
Ysabel is just in her 20s, but she’s already a big boss! She works for Forge Ventures, a company in Singapore that helps small businesses grow. She helped them invest in 5 companies, including one that helps food makers and one that helps deliver products.
Before that, she worked at PayMongo (a tech company in the Philippines) and Shopee (a popular online store). She’s helping smart ideas become real businesses! 🧠💸
♟️ Daniel Quizon – Chess Champion (Sports)
Say hello to the youngest chess Grandmaster in the Philippines — Daniel Quizon, only 20 years old! 👑 He beat a 64-year-old chess master in Hungary to earn the title.
He’s been the Philippine Chess Champion since 2021, and last year, he won big in Vietnam and again this year in Hanoi. He’s super smart and really good at thinking ahead — just like in chess! 🧩
💻 Raya Buensuceso – Startup Hero (Fintech)
Raya is helping new tech businesses grow with her company, Kaya Founders. Since 2021, her team has invested in over 50 small companies! That’s a lot of dreams coming true! 💡✨
She helps with marketing, planning, and choosing which startups to support. Raya even studied at Princeton University, one of the best schools in the world! 🎓📈
❤️ Jasper Ruby Vijar – Health Helper (Social Impact)
Dr. Jasper is a real-life hero from the Visayas! He started a group called Team Dugong Bughaw when he was just a student in 2015. Now, it gives free HIV tests, teaches about health, and helps people stay safe and informed.
His group now helps many provinces like Aklan, Capiz, and Iloilo, and he’s worked with big organizations like USAID to help more people. 🩺🌏
🪴 Anna Beatriz Suavengco – The Urban Farmer (Social Impact)
Anna wants to make sure everyone has food — even in the city! 🌿 She started a show called Urban Farmer to teach people how to grow veggies at home using hydroponics (that means no soil, just water!).
She became popular on TikTok during the pandemic, and now has almost 200,000 followers. Last year, she raised money to make videos and teach senior citizens how to grow food, too! 👵👨🌾
🎨 Renren Galeno – Art with a Message (Social Media, Marketing & Ads)
Renren is a young artist with a big heart. She drew pictures for a story by the Washington Post about Filipino history — and it was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize (a HUGE award in writing and reporting)! 📰🎖️
She also made a comic book called “Sa Wala (Nothing to Lose)”, which won a National Book Award. Renren uses her art to talk about real-world problems like climate change and injustice. She’s also a top graduate of UP Diliman! 🎓🎨
🏆 Why This Is a Big Deal
These amazing young Filipinos are doing awesome things at a young age — proving that dreams can come true with hard work, creativity, and passion. They’re making the country proud and showing the world what Pinoys can do! 🇵🇭💪
This year is also Forbes Asia’s 10th year of celebrating youth leaders, and what better way to mark it than with bright stars from the Philippines shining around the world?
