MANILA, Philippines — Actress and former island life vlogger Andi Eigenmann spoke out to clarify that her recent viral posts were not about cheating. However, she admitted feeling hurt after her fiancé, Philmar Alipayo, got a “love couple” tattoo with another woman—a female friend of his.
Andi Shocked by the Public’s Reaction
Andi took to Instagram Stories to thank her followers for their support. However, she also expressed surprise at how some people assumed her cryptic posts were about infidelity.
“I just got a bit shocked at some of the comments, and some seem to assume it was about cheating!” she wrote.
To clear things up, Andi posted a screenshot of her chat with ChatGPT, where she described her situation. She explained that a female friend of Philmar had invited him to get a matching couple tattoo without even informing her.
“Do you think it’s suspicious when a friend invites your life partner to get a love couples’ tattoo with them without even filling you in or consulting you?” Andi asked in her post.
She also revealed that she and Philmar had an argument when it happened, and it upset her even more that the other woman rushed to Philmar’s side during the conflict.
“Took it personally because I never would’ve done it to you,” she added, expressing how hurt she felt about the situation.
Red Flags and Relationship Boundaries
In another post, Andi admitted that she had seen red flags in this friendship before but chose to ignore them.
“I have seen the red flags but chose to look beyond it. Since she was already a friend before I came into the picture, I was shy to call it out to my partner,” she confessed.
However, this situation made her realize something important: setting boundaries in a relationship is not toxic.
