MALOLOS, BULACAN – The Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas team is doing very well in the latest election survey, and their campaign manager, Congressman Toby Tiangco, says this shows that people really believe in them.
The team is a group of candidates running for senator in the 2025 elections. They are supported by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., and many of them are now in the “Magic 12” — the top 12 names in the survey who have a good chance of winning.
“This is more than just numbers,” said Tiangco. “It shows that the people trust Alyansa and believe in what we stand for — unity, hard work, and real change.”
Who Are Leading in the Survey?
The survey was done by OCTA Research between April 20 and 24, and here are some of the top names:
-
Erwin Tulfo (ACT-CIS Partylist Representative) – Number 1 or 2, with 52.7% of people saying they will vote for him.
-
Tito Sotto (Former Senate President) – In the top 3-8, with 42.3% support.
-
Pia Cayetano (Current Senator) – Also in the top group, with 39.1%.
Others doing well include:
-
Bong Revilla, Abby Binay, Lito Lapid, Ping Lacson, Camille Villar, Manny Pacquiao, and Benhur Abalos — all showing strong support and making it into or near the winning circle.
-
Francis Tolentino, Senate Majority Leader, got 25.2%, which means he’s close to entering the Magic 12.
“These results came from months of hard work by the team,” said Tiangco. “But more than that, they show that people want senators who are smart, experienced, and truly care about the country.”
Final Push: Big Events and Rallies
With only a short time left before the elections, Alyansa is focusing on the final campaign stretch. They held a big rally in Malolos City, Bulacan, and will end the campaign with a “Miting de Avance” (final grand rally) in Mandaluyong City. President Marcos is expected to attend and give his final message of support.
“Bulacan is very important because it has over 2 million voters,” Tiangco said. “It’s known for having smart and strong leaders. We want to make sure Bulakenyos get the full benefits of progress.”
He also reminded people that Malolos is special in Philippine history. It was the first capital of the country in 1899, when the First Philippine Republic was born.
“Malolos shows the strength and courage of Filipinos,” Tiangco said. “Now, it also shows how the country is moving forward. Alyansa wants to help this progress continue, not just in Bulacan, but across the nation.”
He ended by saying: “We are almost there, but the people will make the final choice. We hope they vote for leaders who will truly serve every Filipino family.”
