Alden Richards Joins Elite List of Most Influential Stars

Alden Richards continues to prove why he’s one of the country’s most admired stars.

At the 11th EdukCircle Awards, the Asia’s Multimedia Star was honored as one of the Most Influential Celebrities of the Year, a recognition proudly shared by Sparkle GMA Artist Center on Monday.

Alden humbly reposted the announcement on his Instagram Stories, quietly expressing gratitude to everyone who continues to support his journey.

Also receiving the same honor were Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, the beloved Kapuso Royal Couple. The two personally attended the ceremony and spoke about the importance of using their influence responsibly — to inspire and uplift the youth who look up to them.

For Alden, this new recognition adds to his growing list of achievements. Just this August, he was also named one of PeopleAsia’s Men Who Matter 2025, a title given to individuals who have made a lasting impact in their fields.

But beyond the awards, Alden says this recognition serves as “another motivation to do more and be more.”

And he certainly has been doing more. Recently, Alden made his directorial debut with Out of Order, now streaming on Netflix. The film premiered at the 2025 Jagran Film Festival in India and was also featured in the Da Nang Asian Film Festival in Vietnam.

His hit movie with Kathryn Bernardo, Hello, Love, Again, continues to make waves internationally — bagging the Bronze Award for Best Asian Feature Film/Telemovie and the Viewers’ Choice Award (Favorite Movie) at the ContentAsia Awards 2025.

Despite his busy schedule juggling flight school, cycling, and running, Alden remains grounded. He continues to dedicate time to his advocacy work — championing education and literacy for the youth, and supporting the rights and welfare of movie workers as part of the Mowelfund board.

As he continues to inspire on and off the screen, Alden is also wrapping up his latest hosting gig on “Stars on the Floor,” which will air its final dance battle on October 18.

From actor to director, advocate to role model — Alden Richards shows no signs of slowing down. His journey is not just about fame, but about influence that uplifts, inspires, and endures.
