Airports under CAAP fully operational despite ‘Nando’

 

 

MANILA, Philippines — The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) announced on Tuesday that all airports under its management were fully operational and there were no indications of damage amid the onslaught of Super typhoon “Nando” that has since exited the country.

 

 

CAAP reported that facilities and runways of airports in Basco, Tuguegarao, Cauayan, Laoag, and Baguio were unaffected and fully operational.

 

 

Meanwhile, the following flights were canceled due to unfavorable weather:Sept. 23, 2025Philippine AirlinesPR2688 (Clark-Basco)PR2689 (Basco-Clark)PR306 (Manila-Hong Kong)PR307 (Hong Kong-Manila)PR330 (Manila-Xiamen)PR331 (Xiamen-Manila)Sept. 24, 2025PR300 (Manila-Hong Kong)PR301 (Hong Kong-Manila)PR306 (Manila-Hong Kong)PR307 (Hong Kong-Manila)PR310 (Manila-Hong Kong)PR311 (Hong Kong-Manila)A total of 40 flights have been disrupted since Sept. 21, according to CAAP.

 

 

CAAP assures the public that flight safety and airport operations continue to be closely monitored.
