Hamas has received a Gaza truce proposal ‘positively’ but no deal yet – Qatari official

DOHA, Qatar – Hamas has received a truce proposal for a ceasefire and release of hostages in the Gaza Strip positively but it has not responded yet, a Qatari official told Reuters on Thursday.

“There is no deal yet. Hamas has received the proposal positively but we are waiting for their response,” the official said. — Reuters
