“Love, Siargao” is inspired by the island’s famous “Siargao Curse”—a local belief that visitors either never leave… or fall deeply in love. Sometimes, both.
The series follows Jao (Alden) and Kara (Nadine), two strangers brought together by chance. They couldn’t be more different. Their beliefs clash. Their views on life don’t align. Yet as they face the messiness of modern romance, their paths slowly intertwine—testing what they thought they knew about love, timing, and themselves.
Set against Siargao’s stunning backdrop, the series promises more than just romance. Viewers can expect sweeping beach views, a lively food scene, and the unmistakable soul of one of the country’s most beloved islands.
“Love, Siargao” is set to premiere on Viu later in 2026, giving fans plenty of time to anticipate—and speculate.
