MANILA — A new island dream is now closer than ever.
Philippine Airlines (PAL) has announced that it will launch direct flights between Manila and Koror, Palau starting March 29, 2026, opening the door to one of the Pacific’s most breathtaking destinations.
No long layovers.
No complicated connections.
Just a straight flight to paradise.
A Boost for Beach and Dive Lovers
PAL President Richard Nuttall said the new route is expected to spark fresh excitement among travelers — especially those who love the sea.
“Creating flights to this Pacific island will stimulate tourism travel among beach lovers and the diving community,” he shared.
And it’s easy to see why.
Palau is world-famous for its crystal-clear lagoons, colorful coral reefs, and some of the best dive sites on the planet. For adventure seekers and nature lovers, Koror is the gateway to it all.
Flight Schedule Made Easy
The new route will operate twice a week, making travel simple and flexible:
-
Manila to Palau: Every Wednesday and Sunday
-
Palau to Manila: Every Monday and Thursday
PAL will fly the route using its 199-seat, dual-class Airbus A321ceo, offering comfort for both leisure and business travelers.
Strengthening PAL’s Pacific Network
This new service also strengthens PAL’s presence in the Western Pacific.
By adding Palau to its route map — alongside its existing service to Guam — the airline is expanding travel options across the region, connecting more islands, cultures, and opportunities.
For Filipino travelers, this means easier access to a world-class destination.
For Palau, it means more visitors, more connections, and stronger ties with the Philippines.
One Flight Closer to Paradise
Starting 2026, reaching Palau won’t feel distant anymore.
With PAL’s new nonstop Manila–Palau flights, the turquoise waters, vibrant marine life, and island calm are just one flight away.
Sometimes, all it takes is a new route…
To discover a new paradise.
