Celebrating Success: A Remarkable Achievement in Teacher Licensure Exams
In the vibrant month of May, a wave of joy swept through the education community as the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced the results of the Special Professional Licensure Examination (SPLE) for teachers. Out of a total of 167 determined test takers, the commitment and perseverance paid off — they emerged victorious.
Among the candidates, 41 passionate elementary teachers from a cohort of 99 and 126 dedicated secondary teachers out of 187 successfully earned their licenses, demonstrating that hard work truly does lead to success. The exams were held in dynamic test centers across Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taipei, where candidates showcased their knowledge and skills.
A special shout-out is in order for Katherine Reyes Estrellas of Universidad de Dagupan, who shone brightly among her peers! With a stellar score of 89.80%, she achieved the highest ranking among elementary school teachers. Katherine’s achievement is a testament to her hard work and dedication, lighting the way for future educators.
Equally impressive is Catherine Bacasnot Dela Cerna of Laguna State Polytechnic University-Siniloan. With an outstanding score of 90.80%, she topped the secondary teachers’ list, proving that excellence knows no bounds.
