20 Unwed Moms, 23 Kids Return from Dubai—What Happened? 😮

A group of 20 Filipino moms who are not married, along with their 23 little children, just arrived back home in the Philippines from Dubai. But it wasn’t just an ordinary trip—they had to come home because of growing danger in the Middle East.

According to a report by Bernadette Reyes on Super Radyo dzBB, things are getting tense and unsafe in some countries there, and these families needed help to escape.

They weren’t alone. Also flying with them were 10 other Filipinos who were supposed to go to Jordan to work as helpers in homes. But because of the scary situation, they had to cancel their jobs and return to safety.

The good news? When they landed in the Philippines, the government was ready to help! Each of them will receive ₱50,000 to help them start over. That’s a lot of help for food, clothes, and even small businesses. There are also programs to help them live a better life again here at home.

But there’s still more worry ahead… about 150 more Filipino workers in Israel need to be rescued and brought home soon because of rising danger there too.

The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) are now teaming up with the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) to make sure they all get home safely.

If you or someone you know is working abroad and wants to come home because it’s no longer safe, the DMW says you can call their hotline 1348 for help.

These moms, kids, and workers have been through a lot—but now they’re home safe, and they’re not alone. 🇵🇭💙
